Abstract

The hitch is intended for use with implements such as silage unloading forks, permitting a rapid transfer from the mounted to the trailed configuration when heavily laden, thus obviating the need for heavy tractors and front end weights. It is capable of being fitted to the three point linkage of both new and existing tractors. The fork is connected to a hitch frame (10) by means of a retractable and extendable mechanism (9) which brings about the conversion from the empty mounted position to the trailed loaded configuration. For the tailed position there are retractable wheels (12) to support the machine. The outer is hinged vertically at (17).
