Abstract
The material to be transported is mixed with an agent delivered under pressure from a nozzle in a chamber. The inside of the mixing chamber (1) for material and agent has angled surfaces (5, 6) near the nozzle (3). There are inclined to the direction in which the material falls into the chamber at an angle greater than the angle of repose of the material on that of which the surfaces are made. Compared with existing designs, power consumption and wear rate are reduced and the material handled is kept cleaner.
