Abstract

PURPOSE: To smoothly discharge and convey, without stagnation, the pulverulents having been sucked into a chamber by blowing compressed gas into the chamber on the discharge stroke side of the diaphragm pump.
CONSTITUTION: With a connecting shaft 2 of the diaphragm pump 1 moved in the direction of the arrow 3 by feeding compressed air to diaphragm inside recessed portion 10a, the pulverulents are sucked into a chamber 5 as indicated by the arrow 4, and discharged out of the other chamber 5a as indicated by the arrow 6. The discharge of the pulverulents is conducted securely by blowing compressed air from a nozzle 14 into the chamber 5a, as indicated by the arrow 7, over the time period from the start to the end of the discharge.
