Abstract

Water skiing floats each comprise a hollow body with foot securing means on its upper surface and a keel on its lower surface, and a control stick for propulsion connected to each float. The foot securing means and the keel are offset from the vertical median plane towards the inner edge of the float, and offset from each other with the vertical straight line passing through the tip of the keel located closer to the inner edge than the vertical straight line passing through the centre of the foot securing means. The two floats are connected to each other by at least two bonds of rubber matl. disposed on the front and rear inner edges, and are of asymmetrical shape with the inner edge having a greater vol. than the outer edge which is almost flat. Each control stick ends in a drive member of rigid matl. with a concave surface facing the surface of the plane of attack of the water. The floats are pref. made of plastic with polyester resin fibre reinforcement.
