Abstract

The phase winding arrangement in the stator has winding electrically offset by 120 deg. The rectifier contains load and excitation diodes, i.e. positive load diodes, negative load diodes and excitation diodes. The phase winding arrangement has for each phase three winding parts with both ends brought out separately. The full-wave rectifier bridge with positive load diodes negative load diodes and with its own set of excitation diodes is allocated to each winding part. Preferably one end of the winding parts are connectable by a change-over switch, containing a switch bridge for each winding end.
