Abstract

The conveyor system has lengths (P1, P2) of profiled rail on which conveyor trucks (W1, W2) run which are equipped with a drive motor and have travelling rollers. The conveyor trucks can be transferred in the region of points systems from a first profiled rail (P1) to a second profiled rail (P2) arranged at an angle with respect to the first rail (P1), one (P1) of the two profiled rails extending beyond the area of the points system and at least one (P1) of the two profiled rails being interrupted in the area of the points system by pivotable points tongues (A2). The travelling rollers (F) of the conveyor trucks protrude beyond the lateral limit walls of the conveyor trucks and the conveyor trucks are guided through in the area of the points system with their lateral limit walls between the guide faces, serving to receive the travelling rollers of the respective other profiled rail (P2). In conveyor systems of this kind, predominantly files or material for conveying of similar dimensions and similar weight are transported.
