Abstract

The trailer drawgear has a drawbar upon which are two chains connecting it to two stabilizer bars (4). The lower end of each chain fits over a pin or bolt (11) through a selected pair of holes in the flanges of a U-shaped part (7). The U-shaped part is secured to the stabilizer bar (4) at the required position by a pair of screws (8) passed through selected openings (10) in the stabilizer bar and through two openings in the web of the U-shaped part, with clamping nuts (9) fitting over the screws. The lower end of each chain can thus be adjustably positioned along the corresponding stabilizer bar.
