Abstract

The valve body is in two parts joined by two screws and sealed by the joints. The upper half of the casing houses the entry and discharge connections. The seat mates with valve, the main seat having a secondary seat and a secondary valve. The solenoid coil fits over the operating spindle which is held in position by the coil spring which surrounds it. When the secondary valve is opened the pressure falls rapidly in a chamber and the main valve is then balanced and the spring can control the position of the valve to afford complete opening of the valve.
