Abstract

The container for two substances allows mixing immediately before use. One part (53) holds one of the substances, a liquid (52). The other substance (56) is contained in a compartment (55) positioned above an opening (54) in the top of the container. The compartment wall is used to seal this opening. The lower piece (57) is flat, and is ruptured to mix the two substances. The upper piece (58) is concave, to accommodate the substance, and is strengthened to ensure failure of the lower piece. The strengthening can be in the form of a groove (58a) in the top piece, the groove tip (58b) serving as a point to pierce the lower piece. The upper piece can be covered by a flexible plastic dome.
