Abstract

796,499. Mixing appliances. GOODYEAR TIRE & RUBBER CO. April 7, 1955 [Dec. 3, 1954], No. 10230/55. Class 86 [Also in Groups VI and XVII] The dry, mixed ingredients of pastry 3, Fig. 2, are enclosed in a waterproof bag 2 having a one-way valve 4, Fig. 7, secured between its heat-sealed upper edges 14. The mixture is inserted through the lower end 15 of the bag which is subsequently closed by heat-sealing. The bag is then folded to reduce its length and closed in a stiff cardboard outer container 1, Fig. 1, of smaller capacity. The purchaser of the package removes the bag from the outer container, introduces the required quantity of water or other liquid though the valve 4 and then kneads the contents. The bag is finally cut open to allow the contents to be extruded or poured.
