Abstract

The square ways generator has a branch circuit with diodes (4, 5) arranged as a charge-exchanging pair. An inductor (3) is connected into the signal path between the branch circuit and the input (1). A variable HF impedance (17) forms a shunt circuit with the signal path between input and inductor. This variable impedance is constructed and arranged so that its impedance is determined by the amplitude of the current flowing through the diodes. A variable capacitor (16) is connected between the inductor and variable impedance.
