Abstract

The lock comprises two levers pivoting together and held in the engaged position by toggle action, one of the levers having extensions integral with it engaging in recesses in the other. The extensions (25) have T-shaped ends (25'), and the recesses are in the form of slots (26) extending in the direction in which the clamping force is exerted, so that, at least in the engaged position, they are at right angles to the bars of the T-sections. The extension can be formed from a lip at the free end of one of the levers, engaging in a slot in the top surface of the other one.
