Abstract

The termination block for telecommunication cables consists of a stack of insulating supports, each of which carries at least one conductor. Two conductors being used for each line wire, one of these conductors being connected to an input terminal (32, 33) and an intermediate input terminal (35). The other conductor is connected to an output terminal (44, 45) and an intermediate output terminal (38). Each of the two input and output terminals is arranged on one or the other faces of the stack. The intermediate input (35) and output (38) terminals are arranged side by side on the same face in the stack, and are formed so as to receive plug-in terminals mounted on a module containing protection means for the line cables.
