Abstract

1,103,956. Couplings. FRANCIS ASSOCIATES Inc. 4 June, 1965 [5 June, 1964], No. 23844/65. Heading H2E. A terminal 16 is formed with a base of rectangular cross-section and an upstanding post 20, and a number of terminals may be selectively interconnected by insulated wires 22 which are wrapped under tension on to the bases so that the corners bite into the insulation and make contact with the cores, the bases then being encapsulated in a block 17 of insulating material. The connector so formed is used to interconnect a number of circuit modules 10 having terminals 12. The connector is placed over the modules so that the terminals 12 project through the bases of the terminals 16 and wire wrap connections using either bare or insulated wire are made to connect the end of each terminal 12 to the post 20 of the corresponding terminal 16.
