Abstract
A number of turbine wheels is series are mounted on a common axis, all the way along the ridge of a roof. The roof tiles are shaped to form air intakes under them so as to guide the wind onto the turbine wheels when the wind blows on one side of the roof. When the wind blows on the gable end the air will flow directly down the ridge. The shaft carrying the wheels is connected to a geared generator fitted with a governor. Batteries accumulate the unwanted power. The tiles may be mounted on vertical walls as well as roofs.
