Abstract

A fixing clip for preventing longitudinal movement of e.g. a strut is formed from a blank of flexible material and has a central aperture and >=1 tongue. The root of the tongue connects with a main portion of the blank whose adjacent edge is pref. bent over, whereby when the strut is inserted into the aperture the tongue engages the strut and due to resilient deformation exerts a force on the strut to retain it in the aperture. The clip can be easily fitted and doesn't require special machining of the support as with e.g. a circlip. The clip is also re-usable.
