Abstract

A device for the extension of the operating time interval of a boiler with separate hot water producer has a primary operational thermostat (13) which connects the circulating device (19) when the water temp. in the boiler equals or is less than the cut-out temp. of the hot water producer thermostat (16). The circulating device (19) then functions until the water temp. has fallen below the cut in temp. of the hot water producer thermostat (16). From this point the thermostat (16) controls the operation until the procedure is repeated on elevation of the water temp. in the boiler. A second operational thermostat (20) with temp range exceeding that of the hot water production thermostat (16) operates the boiler heating device between specific levels.
