Abstract
The protection circuit used against low temperature corrosion of the heating boiler of a hot water preparation system, has a regulator for the heat supply to the user. This arrangement prevents formation of condensed water and hence corrosion. The switching arrangement (31) limits the return flow rate of water to the boiler (11) during the heating up process of the load (21). This method prevents drop of the boiler temperature into the water condensation range of the boiler. No corrosive materials are formed on the boiler wall and no extreme temperature changes occur which could generate disagreeable banging noises in the central heating system. The steel boiler wall is protected hence against the corrosive agents formed by the sulphur dioxide and water.
