Abstract

The grill comprises a charcola pan with a similar shaped metal box connected thereto along one side by means of hinges so as to act as a windbreak when the charcoal tray and grid are in the horizontal position and to act as a holder for the fat tray (8) when the charcoal tray and grid are in the vertical position (ie spit-rotating position). The grill is supported on the ground by means of two hoop irons wherein the ends of one iron are pivotally fastened to the edge of the charcoal tray and the ends of the other iron are pivotally fastened to the edge of the metal box. The irons can be held by push-in bolts but, when closed down, the bolts and spit holder are stored inside the grill which now represents a suitcase wherein the hoop irons form the carrying handles.
