Abstract

784,651. Grill pans. PARKINSON & COWAN, Ltd. June 21, 1956 [June 22, 1955], No. 18021/55. Class 66. The grill pan 1, Fig. 5, has a handle frame of spaced and substantially parallel rods or tubes forming an inclined portion 4 extending upwardly from means 2 attaching it to the pan and a hand grip portion lying below the level of the top of the inclined portion 4, there being a metal shield 5 on the inclined portion 4 to protect the hand from the heat of the grill. The hand grip portion may be enclosed in mating mouldings 7 and 8 of plastic. The part 11, shown in Fig. 5, may be absent. In Fig. 6, the hand grip portion 14 has no separate covering and is connected to the top of the inclined portion 4 by an intermediate, and almost vertical, section 13. The parts 4, 13 and 14 are formed from a single length of tubing folded back on itself.
