Abstract

The grill apparatus comprises a housing (1) with fold-down front flaps (3, 4) and swivel support arms (10) which are adapted to hold the motor-driven rotary spit (11) and can be brought from the rest into a work position. So that the grill is automatically set up ready for use on opening up the front flaps the supports arms (10) are coupled to the flap (4) and/or to the heating element support (8) by means of mechanical connecting members consisting of preferably a coupling lever (19) which connects one of the heating element supports (8) to the flap door (4) at the bottom of the housing. In the middle a guide slot (21) interacts with a guide pin (22) on the rotary spit arm (10).
