Abstract

The rack is made up of steel sections and consists of equidistant vertical members, and intermediate horizontal members, to form shelving of the requisite size. The spacing may be varied according to the requirements. The front cross beam of each shelving is equipped with rollers, which are supported inside the U-member (2). The rollers carry the weight of the goods being stored, and ease the requirement of side sliding of the article onto its rack. The rollers consist of an inner support tube carried inside a bearing (6) at each end. The tube is concentric with an outer tube which supports the article being stacked.
