Abstract

The mounting accommodates the sight on the ventilated strip or the dovetail slide of a rifle, gun etc. and consists of two bars (1, 5) one on top of the other, with hooks and locking devices engaging together. One is fixed to the base of the sight (V), and the other on the ventilated strip. The second bar is equipped with adjusting devices (14, 16). The bars can engage together by means of a headed stud at one end passing through an opening in the other bar and fitting in a notch formed in the side of the opening, while at the other there is a curved slot, through which a locking screw passes.
