Abstract

The hub cap is made of one piece of foam material in which are fixed two rigid rings. The outer split ring (3) is flexible and circular to mate with the wheel rim and the inner ring (4) engages the hub mounting projections (7). The foam material has a hole to give passage for the air valve and the end of the flexible ring comes near to it. The hub cup is particularly for low speed vehicles in which centrifugal wheel forces are low.
