Abstract

The tubular frame comprises two U-shaped forms, hinged together at their free ends to fold shut. At the lower end is a folding stand having legs (4, 5, 6) diverging outwards each side and connected by spacer bars. Each storage unit (F, G) is made from hardboard, the sides joined to the frame and comprising two door halves (C, C'). The back is fixed and the front is also two door halves. All doors open outwards and the units fold flat. Stability in use is ensured by levelling chains holding the tops and interconnecting spacers across the four shelves inside each unit. Simple catches are fitted.
