Abstract

The body of the safety brake ends in a hexagonal part (29) on an actuating shaft (28). On this head is fitted a lever (41) which turns the shaft, fixed by a circlip (42). At the face end of the lever there is a hole (43) attached to a cable (44) leading to a pedal, or similar device, which can be operated by the driver. The cable ends in a ring for easy manual operation and can be protected by a tube. The device can be applied to all of the brakes in the case of a multiple installation.
