Abstract
The cue tip has anti-slip material bonded to it so that it doesn't need frequent coating. The anti-slip material is bonded to the cue tip, or the tip is impregnated with it in such a way that it cannot be detached in normal conditions of play. The anti-slip material can be bonded to a leather cue tip with a suitable adhesive or can be incorporated in the material of which the cue tip is made. The anti-slip material may be a clay dust, a resin or other suitable material or a mixture of several materials.
