Abstract

A device for crushing fruit, esp. grapes, comprises a tubular housing with semicircular ribs on its inner surface, and a worm conveyor, the shaft dia. of which increases spirally corresponding to the pitch of the worm in the forward direction, towards the housing wall. The device is adjustable for crushing all kinds of fruit. It is compactly built, and can be used alone or assembled on a truck.
