Abstract

The servo steering is for vehicles, the steering transmission housing of which is formed as a pressure medium cylinder, being divided into a narrow and a wide housing section. The cylinder accommodates a piston, with wide working section, and narrow guide section. The working piston is movable in a screw motion being connected to a steering worm, which is retained turnable, and axially non-displaceable in the steering transmission housing. the guide piston section is in transmission-connection with a steering shaft in the narrow housing section. The working piston has a cylindrical sealing piston section between working - and guide piston sections.
