1505693 Toothed gearing SKF INDUSTRIAL TRADING & DEVELOPMENT CO BV 22 May 1975 [25 May 1974] 22375/75 Heading F2Q A planet gear 7 is mounted on a spindle 1 by means of roller bearings 8, and a ring 2 is secured to one end of the spindle 1 and has a radially outer surface which provides a seating surface for location in a bore 11 of a planet carrier 12. The ring 2 may be secured to spindle 1 by means of a press-fit and welding 4. Alternatively, a circlip 17 locates the ring 2 axially relative to the spindle 1, Fig. 3. A circlip 13 engages an annular groove 14 in the outer periphery of the ring 2 in order to axially locate the spindle 1.
