Abstract

The tray is made from a cardboard blank and comprises two short sides (4, 5) with end flaps (2a, 3a). The two long sides (10, 11) are separated from the flaps, when the blank is flat, by cutouts which give the long sides an outwards and upwards inclination when the tray is erected. The flaps are secured to the long sides by gluing or stapling, so that their fold lines register with the edges of the long sides. The short sides then incline inwards and upwards. Tabs (12, 13) underneath each short side and raised sections (10b) on the long sides are provided for stacking.
