Abstract

The design is intended for all types of adjustment and pivot mountings for headlamps and has the advantage that it is only necessary to use one type of adjustment screw. The screw fits through a hole in the support plate which has a dish shaped edge. The under side of the screw head is rounded and a rubber bush fits immediately under the plate holding the sides of the screw. It is held in position by two clips. The clips fit under a washer that supports the bush. There is a diagonal nick in the washer in which the clips fit. The outer diameter of the washer is the same as the bush and the contact surface is roughened.
