Class 75(3) A lamp support comprises in combination a bent rigid tube 10 adapted to be supported adjacent one end for longitudinal and rotational adjustment in clips 25 or the like fixed to a supporting surface, a second rigid tube 14 mounted at the other end of the tube 10 with the axis of the second tube intersecting the axis of that end of the bent rigid tube for relative sliding and rotational movement, means for clamping the second tube to the first tube and a lampholder 17 mounted on one end of the second tube for angular movement in a plane containing the axis of the second tube, means being provided for clamping the lamp holder to the second tube. The tube 10 may be detachable from the U-shaped spring clips 25. The tube 14 may slide and rotate in aligned holes at the upper end of the tube 10. A cap 16 screws on to the end and presses a resilient pad into clamping engagement with the tube 14. A screw 21 clamps the pivotal connection 19 of the rotatable bulb holder. Alternatively the tube 14 may slide in the head of a T-shaped tube secured to the upper end of the tube 10. A nut screws on the stem of the T-shaped tube and engages in notches in the tube on either side of the stem to clamp the tube 14. An insulated conductor 22 passes along the tube 10 and emerges near the upper end to provide a loop with a switch, then enters at the end or near the end of the tube 14 and passes to the lamp holder.
