Abstract

The system is particularly for agricultural spraying and incorporates a non-driving wheel (3) running over the land (2) and driving a pump (4) at a speed proportional to the wheel speed. The pump draw and delivers the liquid from a tank (1) to a sprayer nozzle unit (10), and a return pipe (11) is provided from the pump back to the tank. A variable-section regulator (12) is incorporated in the return pipe, controlling the adjustable amount of liquid returned to the tank. The regulator can have one or more perforated discs (13) whose passage section is determined as a function of the total flow section of the nozzle unit and the volume of liquid to be distributed per unti surface area.
