Abstract

A window pane which fits into a frame made from an extruded section with a cross section having an arm sealing against the outside of the pane, is held in position by an attachment device to locate between the bottom edge of the pane and the section. The device tends to force the pane upwards and is made of a lower member shaped in section as a shallow inverted U with flat wings extending sideways, at the middle, and a lower L shaped member whose vertical arm abuts the inside of the pane. A pressed out tongue at the centre attaches the device to its support member.
