Abstract

Studs for preventing snow fall from pitched roofs, esp. applicable to roofs overhanging public footways, are very economic when compared with current special tiles, and constitute blocks with one adhesive covered face simply bonded to existing tiles, the adhesive being protected by a release paper until the block is utilized. Terra cotta or fibro-current blocks are used and placed at gutter level or in rows staggered across more extensive roofs.
