Abstract

Each container body is rectangular, of moulded plastic and with angled sides, the top being larger than the bottom to permit nesting. An open construction is used, the base being ribbed for strength. A flanged rim is provided round the top . One long side has two centrally placed inner columns and a column at one end. The other long side has two pairs of similarly placed columns and one column at one end. One short side has a column in each corner, the other none. All columns are flat topped and wider at the bottom. When stacking, crates are placed alternately at 180 deg.
