Abstract

The container is particularly in the form of a barrel, having recesses formed in the sides to accommodate carrying handles. Each recess has an upper and narrower portion and a lower and wider one, both extending in the peripheral direction. In narrower portion two further and smaller recesses are formed, open towards the bottom. A carrying handle is inserted in them from the bottom and wedged in position owing to their shape. Below the part, acting as a seat for the handle in each recess, there can be a narrower portion, so that the handle snaps into place and is held there. The handle can be a pipe of round bar.
