Abstract

Iron-on transfers are improved by printing the transfer onto a support layer using heat-sensitive (sublistatic) inks and covering the printed transfer with a layer of thermoplastic material, esp. polyethylene. The support layer may be ordinary glazed paper, without silicone pre-treatment.
