Abstract

The label has a transparent support substrate (1) and a printing layer (2) sandwiched between the rear face of the substrate (1) and an adhesive coating (3). The support substrate (1) is pref. an acetate or a polyurethane and the printing is obtained by using dry inks, which do not penetrate into the support substrate. The label pref. covers a large part of the surface of the bottle to which it is applied, so as to serve to protect the bottle, particularly when this is made of glass.
