Abstract

Sliding clasp fastener has tapes made highly reflective by a coating of glass microspheres or other suitable material. The microspheres may be attached to the tapes by adhesive, either directly or as a coating on a ribbon of flexible material. When incorporated into a germent the tapes are exposed on the surface to obviate the need for aesthetically unpleasant reflective patches.
