Abstract
Transparent panel, e.g. glass, particularly for automobiles, carrying a antimisting transparent water-absorbent coating, e.G. of cellulose hydrate ie. 'Cellophane' (RTM), fixed to the whole surface by an adhesive esp. gum arabic the novel feature of this known arrangement being the protection of the face of the panel from penetration of moisture at the edges of the coating and its passage between this and the glass panel. Pref. the coating is abutted to the glass at its edges using a colourless adhesive.
