Abstract

A hydro-injector for agricultural sparying units comprises a body defining a central chamber within which open (i) an injection tube joined to the delivery of the pump via a control valve, (ii) a suction pipe communicating with the interior of the chamber and incorporating a Venturi of suitable profile and (iii) a suction pipe oriented laterally w.r.t. the other two pipes are designed to receive a flexible filling duct. The delivery pipe is equipped with a loaded clock valve which is opened by the suction effect due to passage of liq. through the other two pipes, and recloses automatically as soon as this effect disappears. Device prevents the contents of the reservoir siphoning back to the storage tank, pond etc., after filling when the pump or control valve is shut-off, without the need for a stop valve of large dimensions.
