[Classes 71 and 102 (ii)] In a distribution system for water or other liquid, of the type in which the water is pumped into a storage tank and compresses air which serves for discharging the water, an injector is employed for replenishing the air. The water supplied by a pump to an opening b passes to the tank d through an orifice controlled by a hand-operated valve m. When the valve m is closed the water passes through an injector f, g and draws in air through a space h and a passage i controlled by a rubber check valve j. The air mixed with water passes to the tank through a pipe k. The water is withdrawn through an opening o, or through an opening p, shown closed by a plug q. The motor driving the pump is controlled by a pressureoperated switch connected to an orifice .s.
