Abstract

Floor drains are manufactured with a water closure. A separate closure component is manufactured of heat-resistant material, for formation of at least one inner water closure and at least one inlet or outlet opening for this closure. The component is fitted into a scupper of the floor drainage type and is lowered into the scupper until the component sealingly abuts directly or indirectly and sealingly on the inner wall of the scupper and is anchored, to form the drain. Stability and shape are not lost on contact with hot water.
