Abstract

The bag comprises two sheets of plastic (1, 2), with ventilation holes (9), welded together along three sides (3, 4, 5, 6). An extension piece (7) with a hole (8) for suspension is formed in the centre of the end (4, 5). This extension is made of several thicknesses of material, and is used to carry labels, tickets etc. One of the sheets (1) is longer than the other, forming a flap (10) to help insertion of the fruit. The bag is closed by gathering the material and binding with a ring which is applied automatically by a machine.
