Abstract

An endless chain (1) bearing angle scraper plates (2) is driven by a motor (4), and collects dung from inside a stable and removes it by means of an elevator (5) from which it falls on to the dung heap outside the stable. A plate (7) attached to the motor bears a sleeve (8) through which passes a shaft (9), and, to clean the scrapers, a cleaner (13) which runs along the scraper plates. A sleeve (18) through which passes a rod (19) is attached to the cleaner (13). A spring (20) is fixed to lug (21) integral with rod (19) at one end, the other end being attached to the bar (16). By means of this spring the cleaner may pass over an obstacle on the scraper and return to its normal position.
