Abstract

The foot brake pedal (12) of a motor vehicle is coupled to a transmission system (10) which activates the master hydraulic cylinder (14) connected (16) to the brakes (18). The transmission system comprises a casing (30) housing a transmission lever (22) connected to the receiving unit (24) which is connected to the master cylinder (14). Mechanical coupling (26) is provided comprising a clutch (50) with a release mechanism (54) for the energy accumulator (28) for when the demanded force exceeds a set value. A second clutch (52) mechanically connects the energy accumulator, comprising a spring (102) to the transmission system (20).
