Abstract

Aerosol container spray head has a valve whose closure body, with the valve closed, abuts an elastic valve-seating seal under action of a closing spring. A hollow shaft passes through the seal to actuate the body and to conduct further the spray material released on opening the valve to a spray nozzle. The shaft passes through the seal with play, and contains in its wall at least one longitudinal slot which allows the material to pass, when the valve is open, into the interior of the shaft, and which when the valve is closed, projects over the outer surface of the seal. The head is easily fitted to its container.
