Abstract

Clothing comprising a combination of a bulky elastically deformable matl. is reinforced in selected regions by rigid inserts or panels. The clothing is used for protection against light missiles or clubs, or for protection against falls from high speec activities, i.e., motor cycling. Combines high energy absorption with delayed elastic recovery in a suit flexible enough to allow the wearer to move without difficulty. Offers protection to forearms and shins as well as the thorax and pelvis.
